peña addition, kelowna, bc
This site was home to a small bungalow, a large oak tree, and a growing family. To maintain a place for all three, Florian came up with a living room addition structure capable of floating above the tree’s roots, collecting roof water, and redistributing it below the building. The open space and simple building form offer a counterpoint to the small bungalow with tight interior spaces.
