f2a has provided design consultation for various aspects of the Okanagan Crush Pad operations, including schematic exploration to expand production facilities and construction documentation for a tasting room which is now built. now, we are working with the owner to explore development on the garnet valley ranch, “…a spectacular 320-acre site cultivated in carefully planned plots surrounded by untouched native habitat”. at this location, OCP has leased some land to LocalMotive farms who runs an organic farm and supplies produce to local chefs, fruit stands and direct delivery to home via a CSA program.
LocalMotive has heart, and the support of local community, and is looking forward to further establish their presence in the Okanagan and production capacity at the GVR site. f2a was asked to visualize some options for a food hub that allows a centralized location to process harvest and facilitate transport.
